I am a busy mother of three, and I can totally relate to other moms out there who feel there is never enough time in a day to accomplish everything we need to do.

Between my bartending gig, blogging, and shuttling the kids to and from school and other activities – baseball, girl scouts, gymnastics, dance – it is a wonder anything else gets done!

When it comes time to shop for a new diaper bag, a stroller, travel gear or anything else, I simply don’t have time or patience to do all the research that needs to be done.

I know that good research is critical, especially when purchasing big ticket items that are difficult to return. But it is hard to know where to turn and who to trust.

I know you’ve felt this way doing online research too!

And it is even harder to find trusted advice that is organized in a way that will help you make smart decisions quickly, so you can move on with your day with one less headache!

Our Solution: The Buyer’s Guide for Busy Moms

Quick List of Current Buyer’s Guides

This is the problem that we aim to help solve. Quite simply, my husband is a scientist and LOVES putting his PhD to work doing good research. And when he is not studying neurons and physiological signals (or whatever!), I put him to work researching travel products. And for some reason that I’ll never understand, he actually loves doing this.

We have tried to create a place where busy moms can get distilled insights from hours upon hours of extensive research. This research is often with the product itself as often as possible, but sometimes it involves online research of verified users across multiple product reviewing platforms.

Basically we do the research, figure out exactly what you should know to make a solid buying decision, and present different products to fit a range of specific needs and budgets. We only recommend products with ample public reviews where a majority of verified users recommend the product.

We also let you know exactly what there is to love about the product as well as places where it is known to fall short and needs improvement relative to the competition.

We hope these articles become a go-to resource for busy moms everywhere, and that we actually help to make your life just a little bit easier 🙂

Why do we go through this trouble?

You might be asking why a travel blog like ours would go through the trouble of all this research on travel-related products?

First and foremost, the biggest audience for our travel blog is other moms like me, so I am always looking for ways to be helpful and supportive of our readers and other moms out there. It may sound corny but it is true.

Secondly, operating this travel blog has been a full time job for me for the last five years. I do it because I truly love it, but it is not yet profitable by any stretch of the imagination. I started this venture as a hobby, but I do need some support to keep it going.

Enter Affiliate Marketing.

We discovered that it is actually possible to earn a little commission from affiliate programs when we provide awesome enough content that it helps our readers to make a decision on a purchase. It does not change the price of the product for the buyer when they click a link in our guide, but the seller will compensate our site with a small commission for doing so.

Importantly, we will never promote a product simply because a company wants us to, and we will always do our own independent research. We believe in honesty, transparency and full disclosure. If we ever review a product given to us by a company, we will let you know it. If we have tried a product and found major problems with it, we will let you know about that too.
