Firelight Camps

Fall asleep to the sounds of nature in one of Firelight Camps luxury safari glamping tents. Then wake up to a locally-sourced, complimentary continental breakfast. Tents have either a single King bed or two Queen beds, a private covered balcony, battery operated lanterns, warm bedding and a writing desk and chair. Tent rates are based on double occupancy, extra adults, children and doggies are an additional charge. Bath houses, complete with hot showers, flushing toilets and eco-friendly toiletries are just a two to five minute walk from tents. 

The Lobby Tent includes a beverage station with hot water, coffee and tea, a water dispenser, a phone charging station, games, communal campfire and lounge chairs. This is also where the complimentary breakfast is served in the mornings. In the evening head to the bar from 5:00p.m to 11:00p.m for artisanal wines, spirits, ciders and micro-brews from the Finger Lakes as well as speciality and seasonal cocktails. When staying at Firelight Camps you also have access to Upper Buttermilk Falls hiking trails.

Camp Orenda

The Canvas Cabins at Camp Orenda can sleep from two to four guests with various combinations of Queen and Twin beds. Each Canvas Cabin comes completely furnished with plush down comforters and pillows, fresh linens and towels and wood burning inspired electric heating. The shared bath house has heated toilet seats, eco-friendly soaps and each Canvas Cabin has their own section to keep their own toiletries. There are also luxury outdoor showers available stocked with eco-friendly shampoos, conditioners and body washes. 

All meals (except lunch) at the onsite, Backcountry Kitchen, are all-inclusive and are all cooked over an open-fire in cast iron skillets, Dutch ovens and griddles. There is even a S’mores bar in the evenings. Base Camp is the common area that all campers can enjoy, including a general store and several dining and gathering areas. While staying at Camp Orenda, you will have access to hiking trails, canoeing, kayaking, swimming and cliff diving, fishing, archery and mountain biking.

Harmony Hill Retreat

In the Glamping Yurts you have the option of a couples/singles yurt with a King bed or two Twin beds or a family yurt that has a Queen bed and two sleeper pullouts. The family yurt has a modern bathroom with two sinks and a hot shower. Each yurt comes with a fully equipped kitchen, private patio with bistro set, charcoal grill, picnic table and fire pit. The Mountain Cabin has a Queen bed and two Twin beds, wood stove, baseboard heating, television, wrap-around porch, balcony, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, large fire pit and charcoal grill. 

Onsite, you can enjoy massages, guided intuitive nature walks that include a forest bath, Labyrinth walks, intuitive readings, Reiki treatments and farm to table organic meals. Offsite, you are nearby various activities like horseback riding, hiking trails, museums, wineries and breweries, canoeing and kayaking, farmer’s markets and more.

Treetopia Campground

At Treetopia Campground you have a variety of options like sleeping in Tree House, Canvas Glamping Tent, Airstream or Cottage. The Tree House is a two-story with the lower level being the open air kitchen and living room and the upper floor is a tent covered bedroom with a Queen bed.  The Glamping Tents have either a double bed or two twins. For families with two or more children you will need to book two Tree Houses or Glamping Tents. Neither the Tree Houses or the Glamping Tents have private bathrooms, rather you will have access to conveniently located bath houses. The Standard Airstream has a Double bed, AC dinette and full bath while the Jumbo Airstream has a Queen bed, a Double bed and a Twin bunk, AC, dinette and full bath. The Family Bunkhouse has a Queen bed, Twin Bunk and dinette set that can be converted to a Double bed as well as a full bath and AC.

Onsite you can enjoy a pool, but there aren’t any other onsite activities or dining, but the location of Treetopia puts you right in the center of amazing outdoor activities. The campground has put together a list of local favorites like hiking trails, ziplining, ski resorts, river cruises, historic sites and more.

Neversink River Resort

A nature escape is just minutes away from New York City at Neversink River Resort. Here, you have a few glamping options, like Yurts, Tiny Homes, Studio Cottages and Log Cabins. The yurts are great for families as they have numerous sleeping options. The Wallflower and Woodland Yurts have a Queen bed, a Full bed and three Twin beds. The Bluegill Yurt has a Queen bed and two twin beds. All yurts have wifi, kitchenettes and full bathrooms. The local Amish-built tiny homes look like cabins and can sleep up to eight guests. They all have bathrooms and kitchenettes. The Blue Tiny Homes are slightly smaller, sleeping up to four to six. The Studio Cottages can sleep up to six and feature two sets of Bunk beds, kitchenettes and full bathrooms. The Rustic Cabins have Bunk beds and refrigerators, but do not have private bathrooms.

At Neversink River Resort you can partake in various recreational activities such swimming at the onsite pool, fishing in the Neversink River, going river tubing, playing Basketball, Volleyball, Disc Golf or Horseshoes, taking a bike ride or nature hike, bouncing on a giant jumping pillow and much more. At the Discovery Bistro you can enjoy fun beverages and food like smoothies, Frappes, Ice Teas and pizzas.
