Located just 20 miles from the entrance to Zion National Park, Under the Canvas Zion is one of the top 40 glamping resorts in the west, according to Conde Nast Traveler. Offering a safari-style tent glamping experience, you have the option of the Suite tent, the Stargazer, the Deluxe, or the Kids’ Tent. The Suite is great for families as it sleeps four with a King bed and a sleeper sofa. The Stargazer and the Deluxe normally sleep two with a King bed, but can accommodate an extra child with a sleeper cot. What makes the Stargazer unique is that it has a night sky viewing window located above the bed. Additionally, there is a Deluxe tent with three twins or you can also book any of these tents with an additional Kids’ tent which is an adjacent private tent with two twin beds. All glamping tents come equipped with a private bathroom.
Onsite there are a number of camp activities, like yoga, live acoustic music, trivia, bingo, guided hikes, campfire with s’mores and stories, painting, crafts, outdoor games and movie nights. You can also book the adventure package for guided Canyoneering, Mountain Biking, Rock Climbing and Hiking. Under Canvas also has a great culinary experience with hot breakfast, fun dinners and cookouts. There are even social beverage hours. They pride themselves in providing seasonal, locally-produced cuisine to give you an elevated dining experience.

Rough it in style as they say at Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort. When looking for an outdoor adventure in Zion, you can find the perfect accommodation for you and your family. If you really want a glamping experience, the glamping tents are a great option. The Deluxe Glamping Tents sleep up five people with a queen bed and three twins. Tents are equipped with bedding, heaters, wifi and electricity, picnic tables and BBQ. Tents don’t have a private bathroom, but have access to the shared bath house. The Cabin Suites sleep up to six with a private bathroom and a variety of sleeping configurations with queen beds, foldout beds and bunk beds. The Cowboy Cabins have a queen bunk bed, but do not have a private bathroom. The Conestoga Wagons can sleep up to six with a king bed and two twin bunks and have heater, electricity and wifi, but do not have private bathrooms.
All accommodations include breakfast at their onsite restaurant, Ray’s Restaurant, but you can pop in there anytime of the day for a great meal. During the summer season, you can enjoy a country cookout dinner at Grandma Ruth’s Country Dinner. Onsite, there are a plethora of activities, including a pool for having fun and splashing around. By the pool there is a snack bar available for refreshments. More camp activities include a rock climbing wall, mini golf, kids’ activities, paintball, skeet shooting, zip lining, outdoor sport courts and more! In addition, you can book a number of tours like canyoneering, jeep tours, hiking and horseback riding.

East Zion Resort

East Zion Resort has a great location if you are looking for a Utah adventure. In addition, there are a variety of accommodation options to suit your style, including glamping yurts, tents, tiny homes and treehouses. Yurts sleep up to five guests with two king beds and pullout sofa, and they have electricity, ac/heater, a private bathroom with a unique shower, refrigerator and freezer, microwave, electric stove and coffeemaker. Glamping Tents sleep up to four guests with two queen beds or one king bed and have the same amenities as the yurts. The treehouses sleep up to four with a king bed located under a rooftop window for stargazing and a pullout sofa. In addition to the amenities that the tents and yurts have, the treehouses also have a TV. Lastly, the tiny houses sleep up to five guests with two king beds and have a full kitchen and bathroom.
At East Zion Resort you can participate in a number of exciting activities, like via ferrata rock climbing, horseback riding and UTV tours. Depending on the season, take a dip in the pool and hot tub before enjoying stories and s’mores by the campfire.

Zion Glamping Adventures

Centrally located to major Zion attractions, Zion Glamping Adventures offers luxury tent glamping amongst views of the red canyons. Tents have queen beds, luxury bedding, table, chairs, lantern, and ac/heater. You either have a tent with two queen beds or one queen bed. There are only 13 tents total and it is possible to rent them all for a group event.
This glamping site is more about adventuring, the actual camp site is pretty chill with not a lot of activities onsite, but you can book a lot of adventures through Zion Glamping Adventures including horseback riding, cattle driving, 4×4 adventures, guided hikes and buggy rides. The family is sure to enjoy a very adventurous time with Zion Glamping Adventures.

Zion Wildflower Resort

Located just minutes from the Zion National Park entrance, Zion Wildflower Resort offers an exciting glamping experience for the whole family. Accommodation options include, canvas glamping tents, private bungalows and covered conestoga wagons. The canvas watchman glamping tents feature a single pole in the center of the tent. The tents have one king bed and two twin beds, perfect for families with simple amenities including luxury bedding, string lights, private deck, cooling unit and electricity. The conestoga wagons have a king bed and the option to have one or two sets of bunk beds, making this another great option for families. The wagons have ac/heater and electricity and are situated in a wagon circle with a community fire pit. There are several options for bungalows, including a two bedroom, a king suite, a queen suite and king bunk bed. The bungalows also have kitchenettes and private bathrooms.
Onsite, you can enjoy an array of activities including a kids’ play area and lounge, a water feature to cool off, hiking trails, fire pit with s’more kit, giant outdoor yard games and complimentary bike rentals. Also around the property are Adirondacks and hammocks for optimal relaxation.
