Top 9 Pools for Kids in Vegas

The Mirage at Hard Rock
The Mirage, 3400 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89109
The Mirage pool is, and has always been, my favorite pool in Vegas. It earns the #1 spot on our list of best family pools in Las Vegas. The first reason we adore the pool at Mirage is that it is completely isolated from the strip and lush with tropical landscaping, making you feel like you have escaped to an oasis.
The Mirage, is now owned by Hard Rock, but so far the pool is still the same. It is designed to resemble a tropical lagoon and that goal was definitely accomplished. The cascading waterfalls that you can swim under, shady palm trees and whimsical bridges make you feel like you are somewhere exotic. The kids will love splashing around this tropical island pretending to be mermaids and pirates. (That’s what I did as a kid at the Mirage pool, anyways!)

But not all the pool fun involves getting wet. That’s right, there is an amazing poolside restaurant to enjoy a meal among the waterfalls. Best of all the pool is always super clean with a pleasant crowd of Las Vegas vacationers.

Mandalay Bay
3950 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89119
Just because you are in the desert, it doesn’t mean you can’t hit the beach. The Mandalay Bay Beach is basically an 11-acre water playground for kids and adults. You can partake in everything from a sandy beach and wave pool, to a lazy river and tranquil lagoon, making this one of the best pool for kids in Las Vegas.
There are endless options for fun in the sun. Innertubes are allowed in the lazy river only and if you don’t have one there are some available to rent. There is a stage located near the wave pool for live music to make this beach vacation in Las Vegas complete. Mandalay Bay Beach also has beachside dining at the Beach Bar & Grill if you get hungry or need a break from the sun.

MGM Grand
3799 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109
MGM Grand Pool Complex is definitely grand and one of the best kid-friendly pools in Las Vegas. This pool is tropical on a large scale with a huge lazy river, waterfalls, grottos, palm trees, and several pools for playing or relaxing. With 6.5 acres of pool property, your only stress is deciding where you would like to start the fun. Kids will love all the spaces to explore, making this one of the best Las Vegas pools for families.
The pool is surrounded by retail shops as well as poolside dining, like the Cabana Grill. So there is ample opportunity to escape the heat if needed. The MGM Grand Pool Complex is nicely maintained and clean, which is definitely appreciated.

Luxor
3900 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89119
The Luxor has one of the largest pool decks in Las Vegas at a staggering 125,640 square feet with 4 large pools totaling 19,000 square feet. There is plenty of space to find a place to relax for the day, including cabana rentals and a snack bar.
As one of the best pools for kids in Vegas, little ones will enjoy splashing in all the water features, like waterfalls and fountains. If you are traveling with babies or toddlers, you will love the walk-in pool located near the snack bar. It is shallow, has a waterfall and perfect for little swimmers. Plus, from the pool you get an awesome view of the pyramid! Since it is the only with a pool specifically for little ones, it is the best kids pool in Vegas.

Yes, kids get to swim alongside (protected by glass barrier of course) huge sharks! What makes this pool super unique and one of the best kids pool in Las Vegas is that it features a 30-foot water slide that soars right through the shark tank. Pretty darn cool right?

That’s a Wrap!
I know this isn’t a huge list, but is an honest list of the best family pools in Vegas that we love and recommend based on personal experience. That being said, there are many great and luxurious pools in Las Vegas that I didn’t add to this list, because they didn’t offer features that stood out as it relates to the needs of families with kids. I hope you enjoyed this list and it helps you make a better decision when choosing where to stay on your next Las Vegas family vacation.
