Each evening there is a Sunset Celebration where kids can roast marshmallows by a beachfront fire pit and make a wish upon a shell. If the weather is less than great, families can enjoy a popcorn-stocked private movie theater complete with recliners. The Beach Club has several onsite restaurants including, Charleston Harbor Fish House that offers oceanfront dining, fresh catches and locally sourced ingredients. Located on the Ashley River with fantastic views, especially from the top floor onsite restaurant, Harborview Restaurant and Lounge. Besides the awesome view, kids 11 under eat free at Harborview. Another great way to enjoy the views of the river and downtown Charleston is hanging out by the outdoor pool.

The Holiday Inn Charleston-Riverview is not located in the historic downtown, but offers a complimentary 10-person van that runs every 2 hours from 7:30am-9:30pm and picks you up from the corner of Market & East Bay. We personally used this shuttle during our stay at the Holiday Inn, and it was super convenient. The driver was even nice enough to give a little tour of the downtown when we were the only ones in the van during the afternoon, which is another reason the Holiday Inn Charleston-Riverview is a great option for Charleston family hotels.
